Battle of Wheatash Bridge

The Battle of Wheatash Bridge was a battle fought between Doric and Aijian forces by the Bryn river at the bridge crossing near the village of Wheatash. The Doric forces were led by Grand Duke Arttu who was in retreat from a failed attempt to siege the city of Asjaer. The Aijian forces were led by Klenfeld Jannick of Rosmegen who had led a splinter army down from Randleton where Hedfeld Camryd of Hestrja besieged the city at the helm of Redorian mercenary army, much to the anger of the Doric nobility. The Doric army seemed to retreat back across the Bryn to Doria where they might recuperate and muster the energy to rebound against the Aijian forces, however, led by Hedfeld Camryd a force largely made up of mercenaries had besieged Randleton and detached a force to intercept the Grand Duke's Army.
