Sometime in the past, Zella decided to become an adventurer and explore the world. In one of her adventures, she chose to face the demon lord Hoen. She ended up falling deeply in love with him.
We don't know how long they were together, but eventually she died. In late 23 ARL, a party of adventurers from Renedge found some of her hair decorating a bone scroll case in Hoen's demonic realm. One of the adventurers, Knight of Darkhome, was able to access a dream realm connected to the hair. The party rescued Zella's soul or consciousness from torturous imprisonment in a demon-filled dream and subsequently resurrected her.

History

Zella was an adventurer who was involved in the sealing away of the demon lord Hoen, though whether she was part of the group that sealed him away or met him at some other time is unclear. Zella feel deeply in love with him after they met, and given how faithful she's remained ever since, it's likely he reciprocated her feelings.
Zella died of unspecified causes some time after they formed a relationship. She was resurrected by visiting adventurers at the end of 23 ARL, with those adventurers also freeing Hoen from his double imprisonment and reuniting the two lovers.
