2025/05/16: Intermission Report
General Summary
Union, Malakai, Othar, Terana, Buzz, Kelsey, Et-Kehri
Malakai took a look at Saveon. Very beautiful, ominous sword that matches the tastes of the wielder. She has a very feminine vibe, very Morgan le Fay evil sorceress. Fewer powers than some of the other Swords of Creation Malakai has seen, but makes up for it with some really neat powers.
The Titan Sword of the Ages is a brute. Doesn't do much talking or communicating, but it's all about raw power. It's a relic of a bygone age.
Buzz asked Arghent if he could keep Junior safe from the Animus Society. Buzz suspected that Junior would be exactly the sort of thing the Society would be looking for. Arghent said they probably wouldn't be interested: Junior has free will, which the Society hates, and they already have some very scary android tech. To demonstrate the latter, Arghent showed Buzz an android combat maid an adventuring party had captured. It was extremely resilient and had ridiculous regeneration.
Buzz inspected the maid golem. He found that much of the externals appeared to be dwarven make. Apparently these things staff a mansion somewhere, and they attack in packs. They each have 6 autoparries, plus some autododges and ridiculous MR.
The mansion was supposedly a potential holding for a werewolf swashbuckler PC a while back. He was told he and his party could clear it out without issue. They cleared the foyer, heard more maids were coming, and ran.
Knight and Kal'vus headed back to New Hallownest, with Kal'vus going from there to his students. Knight sent Et-Kehri to take his place. Othar joined the party, with Garrek following along and keeping an eye on Egwin. Buzz called Terana in to switch for Rusti, who had a lot of side quests to figure out. Union also showed up.
The party headed back to Castle Kaelund to get the Ragnarok. Teregrun rejoined the party. Apparently his father decided to help out and removed all the necromantic tattoos from the kid who was recovered from the last adventure.
Teregrun left for a bit and came back with a list of nine names of potential crewmembers for the Ragnarok.

Kelsey's size went back to normal. The various effects finally wore off and took the more lasting ones with them. Suddenly, a woman and three boys showed up. Went to find Rye first. Found a rough dirt area that seemed to be enthusiastically but crudely farmed. Almost 9-foot-tall very muscular minotaur living in a hut(?) with a door that's just a big rock. He says he's a coward, prefers to run from fights. Turns out he's a minotaur thief. The next, Nori, is a smallish woman with purple hair. Looked generally unimpressed with the whole group. The group found her in a pillory outside a city. She was on the wrong side of a "war" and was put out here as punishment. The group managed to slip her out of the magic pillory thanks to artificer, magic-cutting, and Lume shenanigans. She may have purple energy wings that she usually keeps hidden. Next spot was in a city. Late afternoon rain. Target location was a bar. Lots of beast people around. Bartender pointed the party to a guy in a cloak cooking some sort of mutated chicken on a spit over a corner fire. Green and brown cloak, looks like a ranger, but he himself has bright gold scales. Draconic eyes, clawed hands. Not a big talker, but he has a serious aura about him. Basically half gold dragon Aragorn. Next spot was grassy area leading up to a brutalist stone building. It's a prison. Watchtowers, bars on all the windows. Guards in shiny black armor. Apparently Ort is a conman and swindler who angered some nobles and got thrown in here. This region appears to be magitech-heavy. Kelsey and Terana signed as crown royals to take him under their authority. Instead of tens of thousands of gold as a fee, it was 34 silver, which was basically the paperwork fee. Ort is a very handsome black orc with a long ponytail and dark suede leather armor. He may have seduced multiple princesses. He was somewhat disappointed that he was being hired to guard a ship rather than to do some special mission, but it beat prison. Next spot was a ren faire of some sort, but with actual fairies and elves and dwarves. Unlike the last few places, the party blended in here. Farris was one of the entertainers on the main stage. Cute brown-haired half-elf. Good at sleight of hand and daggers. Also maybe assassination and espionage. Next spot was a jousting training area inside a military installation. Elaine Leukris is a guy in heavy armor. Looks solid. This place is in "Conclave lands". The place is a loose alliance of knighthoods that keep the peace in a region between several not-necessarily-friendly kingdoms. The notetaker had to leave at this point, but the session continued. NOTES: Terana has 7 or 8 swords on her. Currently wearing green armor. Doesn't stand out a lot: She's an elf in green armor, and while she has unusually large ears, they're mostly hidden by the leaf-wings on the helmet. Leafy green cape on the armor, with her wearing a pink cloak underneath.
