They also engage in training drills and begin looking at Malaysia more Wearily as talk of Reclamation bubbles to the surface. China infuriated with various actions the Nation has been making, drifting more westward, enacted various tariffs and sanctions against Signpore which responded in kind, drifting further West in the name of National Security and sovereignty.
Malaysia begins lining troops up on the border and Singapore respond in kind, getting guarantees from Australia and the Commownealth but not from the United States which Signapore increasingly saw as an enemy more than the shady geopolitical master it used to be.
By 2028, the Signapore Military was 30x Bigger then it was and the City itself was fully optimised and ready for war with drastically expanded Metro systems in the event of Nuclear Halocaust which the Government was certain would turn the city into Dust.
