Haraktu
History
The forum was established as an early archive of local and familiar oral stories, created by a small familial flight of unaffiliated dragons. Due to being on the CLE O.S system, Haraktu was searchable on its network and quickly found by other users to not be locked, and that anyone could make an account. Dragons from the Kindal Dragonflight, Dimensional Dragonflight, and Blood Dragonflight quickly made accounts, commenting on the archives with their own variations of the tales. The site quickly began to gain users, and shifted to being a forum for discussion on oral draconic tales, stories in or to translated to Dragontongue, and literature in general. The forums also feature dedicated sections for reviews both of works themselves and translations, and allow for discussion on such reviews. While the majority of users make short and simple ones on whether or not they recommend a work, the forum does have a significantly smaller portion of highly dedicated reviews who go extremely in depth for which those specific channels became known for.Notable Users
Fornax- Username F.NGC1316
The current leader of the Dimensional Dragonflight, has an extensive presence on Haraktu's forums and message boards, particularly concerning translated research papers, documentaries, and studies. Since taking office, Fornax has taken up an indefinite hiatus. Fornax's post history on the site remains public, and they have curated several recommendation lists into research on spacial magic, physics, and mathmatics, as well as lists of retractions and corrections to numerous scientific papers regardless of author. Much of Fornax's history on Haraktu was publishing translations of papers not available in written Dragontongue, though occasionally in the same threads would make their own posts with speculation on the papers themselves.
Serpentinian- Username Sore Penns
An early adopter of Haraktu for discussion of literary works with an extensive post history. Serpentinian is well known amongst the sub-forum for his own analysis of authorial intent and explanations of it, as well as frequently butting heads with other users in lighthearted debate. He also will on occasion post reviews of works within his analysis on the literary discussion boards, which are well known to often be signatured with images of his cattle. It is occasionally joked by long time users of the forum that Serpentinian is the reason behind a dedicated off-topic forum having been made for posting animals, due to other users often asking to see his cows and sheep. Any rumors behind Serpentinian being the reason for it, however, are quickly denied by staff as that these pages existed prior to him having created his account.
