Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Serpentinian is a massive dragon of the Kindal Dragonflight, with a rather average appearance otherwise, typical of most northern kindals. His above average size likely comes from his occupation as a rancher and having plentiful food to sustain such a large mass and the need to defend a much larger swath of territory. He has a cream to white underbelly with orange or gold tinted scales. His markings are black, and sparse on his wings, though he still retains them along his back, sides, front legs, and tail, giving him a more youthful appearance.
Due to his many scars from conflict with others of his kind, it is highly likely that Serpentinian at one point identified as a stag. His left shoulder has a large bite wound, and his whole body has the marks of claw rakeings. Particularly notable ones are on his face, across his snout and at the left side corner of his jaw. Some of his scars are deliberate scarification, though he himself has not confirmed which ones.

While Serpentinian generally self identifies as a non-competitive, in mannerisms and interactions with other dragons he is often confused for or assumed to be a stag, with little to no correction on his part. As a non-competitive, he has next to no interest in seeking out a mate for himself or rearing offspring, and does not participate in seasonal battles over ewes, gaining territory, or driving off potential rivals. As such, stags will generally leave him and his territory alone, although he occasionally comes into conflict with sub and young adult stags seeking to build out their own territories. During such conflicts, Serpentinian is known to fiercely defend his territory, though typically more out of concern for his way of life than ideals typical of stags. It is likely he allows some confusion over his own personal identity, especially when dealing with flights other than the Kindal, in order to better hold his territory.
Serpentinian's own understanding of his identity is quite typical for most Kindal dragons, as many go through long periods of 'retirement' as non-competitors throughout adulthood, and typically only have recurring mates for a few seasons before 'retiring' once again and leading a solitary lifestyle.
Employment
Serpentinian is a cattle rancher in the region surrounding Bronzerest, oftentimes wandering with his herd throughout the fields and meadows in the spring and summer. He often returns to the town during winter, during which time he slaughters animals for meat and hides. Occasionally, he will change livestock and rear goats, pigs, or sheep for their meat for a year or two, allowing pastures to recover.
Serpentinian's wares are generally sold locally within the town to its various restuaunts, butchers, and meat markets.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Serpentinian's profession allows him a rare oppertunity where he is rarely challenged for his territory, as any who do challenge him often do not wish to take on the responsibility of caring for his livestock, and almost always back out of their challenges against him. This gives him a high degree of stability living in one place, which is oftentimes not afforded to many dragons- Serpentinian considers this to be his 'retirement' phase of live in which he can live peacefully and with next to no conflict between himself and others of his kind or mortals.

Serpentinian in his middle age has taken up a number of hobbies to fill the time around his job, with one of his longest lasting a habit of reading and reviewing texts he's come across with his own brutal opinion. He most often does this on a forum named Haraktu under the username "Sore Penns". Most often, he is prone to arguing with other users about author's intent, translation, and tone, as he primarily reads works written in Dragontongue and translated to it. Arguing about the intent of a text, its meaning, and development is one of his favorite activities, as noted by his extensive post history on Haraktu.

Family Ties
Like many older dragons, Serpentinian has reared clutches before with previous mates and does not keep particularly close ties with his surviving children. Many of his previous mates, even those he has had offspring with, oftentimes were only for one season, after their hatchlings became independent, they separated. Due to his age, he has also outlived many of his offspring.
