Utility

The CLE O.S system and its spin off systems have become the foundation of most of Terra's modern internet and electronics services in Appalachia. Many major retailers of computers, tablets, phones, and similar devices in the region offer the CLE O.S as their default operating system for networking and internet services. The operating system is also notable for being cross-compatible with other networks due to its open source software, allowing users to install programs to share files, service, and interact with users on different devices and systems. While far from perfect, the OS is widely used and has a great reputation with its users due to its ease of use. CLEO O.S devices all come standard with a device management assistant, functioning and a browser, search engine, and compatibility tool when installing new software. The mascot of the application, CLEO, is a calico cat that is also used as the default live wallpaper and screen pet widjet.
