Forgehorn

"Many think of minotaurs as chaotic creatures of demonic decent. Though it is commonly true we are the exception to the rule. We are touched and created by nature. Our blood runs with the strength of Gaia. We run with the speed of Zephyr. We fight with the fury of Igni. We can be as calm as Whyln. We are by the Forgehorn's."   ~ Nasa Forgehorn

Culture

Birth & Baptismal Rites

All different Forgehorn clans live in one of the different incarnations of the Living Seas, an area where the Fey Wilds touches the material plane, and have a Mother Tree. During the first weeks of spring the entire Forgehorn clan gathers around the Mother Tree with their families or companions. Then if a New Forged approaches them they are in charge of the upbringing of that New Forged.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Most Forgehorn's display beauty in quite a few ways. Those more fond of the Fey side of their heritage decorate themselves in plants, soil, and other natural trinkets. Others adorn themselves with tattoos of unending lines that never intersect but never end.

Gender Ideals

The Forgehorn's lack gender identity due to them being a sexless race. Though they can accept the ideals of masculine and feminine qualities they do not define themselves by such traits. They see races that define themselves by gender as immature and do what they can to guide them but do not try to force ideals on them.

Courtship Ideals

During the spring months in the surrounding area the Forgehorn's will approach their respective Mother Trees to accept the New Forged that are gifted to them by Gaia and her kin. When the New Forged take their first steps the first family they approach is responsible for that New Forged's upbringing until it reaches it's young adult age.   Most families are bound by either by surviving combat together, bound by tradition, or other differing circumstances where both partners are amicable for courtship. It is uncommon for a Forgehorn to be solitary, but it's not unheard of due to either loss of a companion or because they have chosen a solitary life to peruse different skills.
