Smelting Quarter

Demographics

Working-class citizens--those who work in the smithies of this neighborhood and the warehouses elsewhere in the precinct--are the most common residents of the Smelting Quarter. Goblin gangs are comfortable in the constant activity near Foundry Street, and many Rakdos performers make their homes here.

Defences

While Boros Legion soldiers are nearby in Kamen Fortress, the Smelting Quarter is convoluted and raucous. Getting to a crime is difficult, assuming it was reported in the first place.

Industry & Trade

This neighborhood is the heart of the manufacturing industry. Anything mass-produced within the city proper comes through here.

Guilds and Factions

The Syndicate owns many of the factories in the area, and the Legion has interests in the other half. This neighborhood is hotbed for Rakdos activity, keeping the Legion on their toes.

Architecture

The Smelting Quarter is hot, smoky, and filled with activity day and night. Consequently, buildings here are dirty, sprawling, and patchwork. There are metal warehouses, brick factories, and concrete foundries.
