Barovia - past

A small militaristic country recovering from a recent invasion, it theoretically covers a few dozen villages and towns. It's actual direct influence is currently just over a small village, but that's being worked on. The country is ruled over directly by the Barovian Nobility, with the Von Zarovich Family heading them up, but the Church of Andral has a considerable amount of influence on the land either indirectly through the peasantry or directly through their "friendships" with ruling nobles.

Demographics

Three quarters of the population are full-blooded human with dusk elves making up the rest. Among the humans are counted a wandering tribe of maybe twenty called the Vistani.
