Book of Ruins

This book appears to have been written by a modern day adventurer, Connor Wentworth. They don't seem to know much about what the ruins were before they were ruined, but the descriptions of what they are like now are very detailed and accurate.

Book of Ruins

• Lintague Labyrinth - This structure lies to the west of Lintague and appears to be a burial place for ancient Maji.

• Ruined Tower - This ruin lies north of Lintague. All that remains of the tower is the foundation and the barest hint of walls around it.

• The Ruined Keep - It’s in the forest east of Faversham. The walls and part of the structure are crumbled, but the main part of the keep remains intact and unenterable.

• The Old Capital - The ruins of what was the capital of Rathana in the days of the Empire are located in the heart of the region known as The Scar, in the center of the continent. There isn't much left of the capital and the lands of The Scar are blighted, making this a dangerous, yet uninteresting place to visit.

• Temple of Knowledge - Just off the Willis River, east of Shikotsu Lake and northwest from Varna. The temple is intact, and it has an inscription over the door in Orgenic, the language of the Maji. It reads, “Seekers of knowledge, enter humbly and welcome. Seekers of power, enter forcibly and perish.” Outwardly, the building seems to be a temple, or a small castle or keep, made of stone with some stone pillars on the outside. I did not try to enter this structure because it seems obvious to me that the entrance must be trapped, based on the ominous inscription.

• Sunfall Cave - A small cave likely used by sailors to store goods, smuggled or legal.
