Erenia Braveheart
High Priestess Erenia Braveheart (a.k.a. the Night's End)
Lady Erenia Braveheart, nicknamed the Night's End, was the previous High Priestess of the Order and a great hero of the Great Invasion. Erenia was quite different from most of her predecessors in that she was much more military focused and even leading armies in battle, instead of only being more of a cultural leader.
Erenia's Reforms
Erenia made several reforms within the Order and the Lightsworn. The Lightsworn where mostly temple guards and used in ceremonial situations but Erenia expanded the Lightsworn and turned them into a more active military unit, similar to the crusader bands. Changes were made within Order itself as well, making it more military active and greatly increased the deployment of priests in the army.History
Early Life
Erenia was chosen as the successor of the High Priestess year 9961 and succeeded her six years later in 9967.The Great Invasion
Only 4 years after her ascension to High Priestess, Soll and Nhal was once again embroiled in conflict. High Priestess Braveheart became famous for her legendary last stand outside the walls of Sollg'anor during the Siege of Sollg'anor year 9999. During the final battle of the Great Invasion Erenia lead the army to victory after the deaths of Eldrak Blader and High Commander Lasher. The fortress Night's End, which was built at the place of Erenia's victory, was named in her honour.Light's Chosen
In 10 431 Erenia had gotten to hear a tale of a incredible blessed individual from a small village in Great Plains of Soll. She alongside Eryk Dawn and other prominent members in the Order traveled to the village to meet Jain Brightarc. After meeting her, Erenia proclaimed Jain to be the Light's Chosen.Death and Successor
Erenia participated in the 1st Siege of Night's End 10 433, were she lead a host along Altrael Fielder from Sollg'anor to lift the siege. Towards the end of the battle she was killed by a arrow. Though she never officially announced a successor before her death, it was known amognst the upper members of the Order that Erenia planned to make the young Priestess Rina Trueheart her successor as High Priestess. Despite Rina still being very young and overall inexperienced, Erenia had taken notice of her from the two first battles of the Chosen War. It was also well known that she had a strong connection to the light as well as her being from the Trueheart family, more precisely the granddaughter of the former High Commander Irenik Trueheart. Erenia had hopes of Rina becoming both a spiritual leader and a military one, much like herself.
