Night's End
Night's End is a large heavily fortified town at the border between Soll and Nhal. It serves as the first defense against the nhalrai. It's currant Lord is Quenrix Tarren.
History
Founding
Night's End was founded after the Great Invasion by the 20th Patriarch Eryk Dawn and High Priestess Erenia Braveheart. The Fort was named in Erenia's honour who was called the Night's End after her legendary last stand during the Siege of Sollg'anor which saved the city and the Realm of Soll. As well as the last battle of the Great Invasion in which she rallied the army after the death of Patriarch Blader and High Commander Lasher and lead them to victory. It was founded in the spot of where the final battle of the Great Invasion took place, which also was the spot of an old fortress which was destroyed during the early parts of the Great Wars.The Chosen War
During what would be known as the Chosen War, Night's End was besieged two times.1st Siege of Night's End
The 1st Siege of Night's End occurred 10 433 AR twelve years after the Sollrai defeat in the Battle of Windplains. The siege lasted only a week with scouts notifying Sollg'anor of the approaching Nhal host. Reinforcements lead by High Priestess Erenia Braveheart and High Commander Altrael Fielder was swiftly dispatched from the capital. The battle was a short but bloody one and ended with Sollrai victory. Erenia Braveheart was however killed during the battle.2nd Siege of Night's End
The 2nd Siege of Night's End occurred 10 460 AR. The second siege lasted a few weeks longer than the first one. Night's End was however well prepared for a longer siege and repelled two assaults on the walls. A large host lead by Patriarch Eryk Dawn and both High Commanders Artax Flare and Altrael Fielder was on the way to lift the siege. The ensuing battle was short with minimal losses on both sides with the Nhalrai host quickly retreating. After the battle the host stayed at Night's End awaiting further supplies from Sollg'anor.
