Raqanok
The Raqanok tribe are a nomadic people who roam the Dunes of Oblivion. They are a group of Sedjai and speak the language , but have been influenced greatly by the Halfling vocabulary, forming the Raqanokid dialect.
Raqanokki people are pure traders, making their living off of their livestock and meat they hunt for in the desert. Despite being excellent hunters, they are not fighters and do not tend to get violent with the other groups traversing the desert.
Culture
Raqanokki people share close bonds and build up relationships from the moment they enter the world. They believe that every soul has an impact on another, and they strive for each and every connection they make to be a positive one. Outsiders may describe the Raqanokki philosophy as being one focused around the idea of inner peace, but Raqanokki themselves claim it is based in the concept of consideration - always being considerate of the state of all those around you, including yourself. This doesn’t mean that Raqanokki believe that relationships must last forever, on the contrary, they place great importance on the ability to sever ties.
There is also a deep and long tradition of dance as a form of prayer in Raqanokid customs. Prayer takes place at sunrise and sunset and is a group activity. Raqanokid dances are made up of swift, precise, coordinated movements, most times performed in a circle.
