Frostborn (frôst bôrn)
Description
Direct descendants of the first men, the Frostborn are a hardy people that live in the Endless Frost wastes located North of Sephra, beyond the Draken Summits. Over many millennia, they have developed numberous traditions, some of which are found to be very strange to outsiders, including the slaying and worshipping of the Dragons of Fuuthendrung in the Draken Summits. Though they choose to remain sedintary in their settlements, there are some Frostborn that have wandered southward into Sephra, becoming Mercenaries, Guards, and even Knights. They are very well known across Ephiria as a strong and stubborn people, as they have shown to be quite large and grow to be quite old in human standards. Because of their frozen homeland, the Frostborn have developed a heavy resistance to cold and are unaffected by cold magic and weather, requiring little clothing during Sephran Winters. Due to the constant snow and frozen climate, most Frostborn have never and will never see a single plant outside of trees and some mushrooms in their lifetimes.
