With the arrival of the Frostborn, an ancient realm of gods opened within the pantheon of Qestrus known as the Realm of the Old Gods, which are worshipped by this new sentient race. Though separate from Auro and her pantheon, some do speculate that she belonged to that realm, as one god named Nerthus was said to have been the creator of all life. Not much is known about the reason for the Old Gods, though there has been speculation that the sudden appearance of the Outer Gods was somehow responsible. Others believe that Hrafn, the All-Knowing and de facto leader of the pantheon, saw visions of destruction for him and his companions and took them to a better home.
