The Council of Lords
The council of lords was a group advising the monarch and voting for laws. Desicions which affected all of Vandaryen were made by this group consisting of the ruler and three lords. Represented were the principalities Rhaben, Rubinstar and Moorewall. The county of Nival and the Belerys Ilses were represented by Rubinstar. Vynes of Salysberg, lord of Salpdamm, refused to be a part of the council because of their desicion to make Leonardo Dewinter, brother of Normad I., to the crowns gentleman after his brother died.Public Agenda
For the crown we fight
Vandarysh people were very loyal to their crown. Independed which head it wore. In fact the last king, Normad I., only could reign because he and some lords had overthrown his predecessor, Anon II., when they no longer felt represented by him.
First the vandarysh people were mad and confused because they liked Anon II. very much but when his wife, Lady Lara of Tyr, was accused of treason and plotting war against kingdom of Vandaryen they quickly changed their minds. But seven months later really no one thought about anymore - The great war for Nival had just started...

The council of lords was responsible for writing laws and deciding new rules. Whenever a new law was made the head of the state or government (usually it was the same person, duh...) had to sign it. Then the law was announced by heralds and carried out by judicial forces.
