Scavenger

EXPLORERS, MINERS AND TREASURE HUNTERS, RETRIEVERS OF ANCIENT TECHNOLOGICAL ARTIFACTS.

In the Afterfall, the cities of old are nothing but piles of rubble and rust.
Time, humidity, natural disasters and doomsday warfare have done a splendind job.
Nonetheless, if you look hard enough, if you dig deep enough, if you squeeze through the crevices among the debris, you might reach an untouched vault, full of relics of the old world. Scavengers are experts at doing just that, they roam the wastelands, avoiding and confronting great dangers in search for the rubble and rust that signifies hope, waiting for their great strike of luck.
The tales and legends transmitted from generation to generation speak of unbelievable technology that made the ancients nearly godlike. The hardware, however, is not all there is to be found. Some scavengers have recovered old books, that have greatly contributed to get people out of the mud.
Scavengers are also adept at finding metal deposits in the ground: natural ore or ancient junkyards, and they know how to extract it. Scavengers are the nearest to an archaeologist or a miner the Afterfall has to offer, although they usually look like a dusty bum with a wagon full of junk.
Scavengers are usually found working in close connection with Tinkers.   Special Skill: Mining.
