Bleeding out
Your wounds and injuries make you bleed profusely.
The character must make a Vigor roll at the start of his turn.
The maneuver requires you to spend at least 5 minutes making a tourniquet, clamping an artery, cauterizing, or at least applying pressure on the wound. It requires both hands and you cannot be interrupted, or you need to start over.
On a success, and if you are not interrupted, the character is not longer Bleeding Out.
Some Mutations can help you combat bleeding, such as Healing Saliva - 1 and Bloodsaver - 3.
The character must make a Vigor roll at the start of his turn.
- Failure means he rolls 1D4, the result is how many levels of Fatigue he takes.
- If the character was already Incapacitated due to wounds, and reaches Incapacitad due to Fatigue by bleeding, he dies. Life was tough.
- If the character wasn't Incapacitated due to wounds, and reaches Incapacitated due to Fatigue by bleeding, he keeps on rolling Vigor each turn, but in these cases, a failure means death by bleeding out.
- With success he survives but must keep on rolling each turn.
- With a raise, he stabilizes and no further bleeding rolls are required.
