Personal history

Femtid was born in Montia. The names of her birth parents are unknown, but they were loyal servants of House Lorqull. She lived a relatively normal life, until the day she visited a temple of Istus and learned that she was a Hand of Fate. She was destined, according to the temple, to become the next Avatars and cause an apocalypse. This information completely consumed her, causing her to become the Conduit of Doomsday.    The Conduit of Doomsday showed her futures, but never good ones.  Several times a day she would see terrible disasters, much of which being caused by either Femtid herself or those around her.  She became convinced she was a danger to everybody.  As The Age of Coalescence started to grow more powerful, one vision was particularly persistent: planes shifting and churning and merging together.  Becoming a single plane, and causing untold death in the process.  She tried to tell the king, Ectraph Acdri, but the Ectraph was a follower of Vecna and had plans to take advantage of the situation.  He told Femtid that Lolth's church could help her.  Give her a way to stop seeing the visions.  All she had to do was join up.   This drove Femtid to become a follower of Lolth, and she was assigned to Menzoberranzan, where she served as a highly skilled assassin.  Her ability to see disasters proved quite useful in causing more disasters, and she was charismatic enough to have a cover identity as a stripper named "Dragonfly".  She even had her own house, with a handful of servants.  The head servant was Delilah, and these two were close.  Delilah knew all about Femtid's actual job, and supported her in her endeavors as best she could.   Over time, however, the Conduit of Doomsday began to wear on Femtid.  She tried to escape, joining up with the Fallen Angels for a few months before winding up in Xumasha, where her job caught up with her.  She was ordered to slay Kilfras Klaedris, and attempted to do exactly that.  Her plan was thwarted by the crew of Barry the Airship, and during the ensuing combat Hinfyire Soriel grabbed Femtid by the neck and invoked her Conduit of Oblivion.  Femtid was defeated shortly after, and summarily arrested.  She was battered, and beaten, and could not remember anything.  Was Femtid even her real name?  She didn't know.   Izar and his crew showed her mercy, however, and in time she became a member of the crew.  Her suffering was great, and relations with the others were strenuous at best, but in time things began to look up.  Memento Vitae was the turning point.  He fell for Femtid, and Femtid reciprocated.  It brought both of them some much needed joy in their miserable lives... and then it got worse.  Memento Vitae was slain by Arrius during an incident in ShippoMemento Vitae was an Einherjar, and Femtid became obsessed with joining him.  In an almost cruel moment of irony, this obsession finally broke Femtid free of her Conduit.  She became Conduit of Improvement.   Over time, Femtid transformed herself into an entirely different person.  She learned to fight, got better clothes, became Natsu's first priestess, and fell in love with someone else.  This last change was the most bittersweet.  It was difficult for her to say goodbye to Memento Vitae, but at the same time it felt disingenuous to hold on... she was no longer the same person as she was before.  So, despite her initial guilt, she started dating Caerbor Klaedris.  They made a great couple, and after several adventurous twists and turns, Femtid helps the crew take down Faren, and Arrius, Nildar Aleantyl, and even King Ectraph Acdri  During these adventures, Femtid also willingly contracts Moon Plague.  Her other self, Ionda, proves to be a dangerous and powerful ally.  When Femtid and Caerbor are jumped by Bloodseekers after the rebellion, they manage to fight off their assailants.  Caerbor Klaedris proposes shortly after, and as the campaign came to a close Femtid joined Caerbor Klaedris to rule in Tilum.  She later goes on to found Moonlight Covenant churches in both the Duchy of Tilum and Menzoberranzan
