Avatars

Avatars are, put simply, physical manifestations of the Forms. They are not precisely mortal nor immortal, living nor dead. Instead, they are abstract concepts given some sort of physical presence. Sometimes these Avatars take the form of living creatures. In these cases they are capable of aging and even dying. Other times, however, an Avatar is simply an inanimate object. The death or destruction of an Avatar returns it to the The World of Forms, accelerating the arrival of the next Form.
