Lolth
Queen of Spiders
Lolth was the goddess of spiders. She was hideous creature, with the lower body of a gigantic spider and the upper body of an attractive drow woman. She holds domain over all spiders in The multiverse. She had a stranglehold on Drow culture, exerting great influence over their actions. She is constantly working to expand her own influence, but her exact motivations for doing so are unclear. Her followers frequently caused trouble throughout the Prime Material Plane.
She died during Ragnarok, only to be replaced by a disguised Vecna.

Motivation
The motivations of Lolth are unclear, even to her own followers, but she involves herself in a great many things and has a history of throwing the lives of her followers away simply to create a distraction. She seems to view her people as disposable resources to be spent and consumed as necessary for her larger goals.
