The Northern Isles
INTRODUCTION
The North Isles Kingdom is a clan of Chambradic Alliances ruling over the islands north of the Abeonic continent. They were largely undiscovered until 3504, when valkyrin explorers found the islands and settled there. The Northern Isles are one of the oldest remaining kingdoms in Abeon, holding the same governmental system since its founding in 3754 4p. Although they are rarely seen, the chambraids who inhabit the islands are fierce warriors from Wingoheil, in the Dragon Wing Isle. They remained inactive in war, however, until The Third Magic War of Abeon, where they were compelled to fight by The Abeonic Treaty, which their king had signed in 4745.
FOUNDING
The Chambraids sailed north in 3640, restless and unable to stay in Wingoheil due to the erruption of the great volcano, Smaemon. While many ended up landing in Timburst and the Eternal Forest, tropical rainforests not unlike their own climate; several clans continued north until they reached the northern isles of Abeon. Once established among the valkyrie on the islands, their leader, Yirron Wingson, declared the islands to be Wingoheil property, and an extension of his kingdom in the south. The valkyrie on the isle immediately declared war on the chambraids. However, they were easily routed and sent back to Hofslond, battered and ruined. With no fear of retribution, Yirron set to work building a great northern outpost for Wingoheil, naming his newfound nation 'The Northern Isles'.
HISTORY
The Northern Isles remained unstable for the entirety of Yirron's reign, beginning feuds and war's with their seabourne neighbors, The Queenshire of Hofslond, over trade and land. It was not until Uni Yirronson set foot in Northsward that stability began to take root. Uni met with King Emeric I of Archia in the blossoming of 3904, a historic moment in world history- the first meeting between humans and chambraids. Despite initial fear of their neighbors, Uni's fears were put to rest when Emeric promised to aid him in any war against the Queenshire, in exchange for help against the Archian Territories. The agreement was far from fair, and Emeric seized the opportunity to invade the Archian Territories and put the rebellions to rest in those lands. Uni and his chambraids sailed and aided King Emeric, and played a large part in putting down the Ardune rebellion. When Hofslond began barricading the Northern Isles and blocking all trade, Uni asked for the favor returned, but due to newly placed agreements between Emeric and the Holyfyre Seven, the Archian army did not move to aid. Thus, the Northern Isles and Archia were pitted at odds for the rest of each nation's span. The two kingdoms never engaged in combat, until the Abeonic Accords forced them to in 4781 during The Third Magic War of Abeon.

Yirron Wingson was the first king of the Northern Isles and the founder of the Wingoheil outposts in Abeon. He is considered one of the greatest Chambradic clan leaders to have ever walked the earth. His rise to power in the thirty-eighth century came as a shock to the Southern World. He had been an outcast and shamed his whole life, and his sailing north was a result of exile. Yirron's descendants would later repay the hatred upon Wingoheil by declaring themselves independent in 4150, forever dividing the chambradic world and beginning a series of endless wars between the two nations. Yirron died in 3890, having reigned for 136 years. His son, Uni Yirronson, would become the first Chambraid to make contact with the humans of Abeon.
