Lauren Skyy is a changeling that assumed the disguise of a wealthy human heiress and the Goliath game hunter known as Berg. While Lauren's true reasons for assuming passage on the Tourmaline Dream are unknown, she is one of the few remaining survivors of the Dawn Islands Reaping. After the Reaping, Lauren travelled with the Aumyr Chroniclers during their adventures in the strange land of Islamara, an unknown land accessible only via the Reaping.
While traveling with the Aumyr Chroniclers, Lauren served as a powerful warrior, scout, and spy for the local Tanaroan villagers and trained with the renowned halfling assassin Bandobras Witfoot. Though unconfirmed, it is suspected that Lauren worked for the shadowy organization known as the Shattered Brow before and after her journey to Islamara.
After the Aumyr Chroniclers returned to Islamara to recover the remaining survivors, Lauren reportedly travelled with Bandobras for several months before parting ways. Lauren's true name, current profession, and current whereabouts are unknown.

Personal history

Lauren Skyy is the daughter of fabrics mogul Amadeus Skyy and heir to the Skyy fortune. Lauren was sent to the Wyvern Nights festival by her father in order to secure future trade deals with the merchants guild of Aumyr City. While Skyy Fabrics are of impressively high quality, they have not managed to reach a large customer base outside the island Kingdom of Inkari.
Since the sinking of the Tourmaline Dream and the marooning of the remaining survivors Lauren has worked to become more industrious, commonly working with Rory Tsilim and Maylen Tsilim to learn more about engineering and essence binding.

Education

Lauren attended Khoralis University where she studied diplomacy and finance.

Employment

Lauren worked in her father's fabric company primarily coordinating logistics.

Mental Trauma

Lauren appears to be one of the only survivors seemingly unphased by the shipwreck. Although she expresses a wish to go home she focuses on making the most of each day and doesn't lament the survivor's current situation.
