Rory Tsilim

Rory Tsilim an intrepid engineer and Fate Sealer that co-founded Fate Tsiling Industries (FTI), one of the largest private Fate Sealing firms within Aumyr. Rory is a survivor of the Tourmaline Dream shipwreck and is connected to the Aumyr Chroniclers. Following the sinking of the Tourmaline Dream, Rory traveled with the Aumyr Chroniclers working as an engineer and assisting the Chroniclers and local Tanaroan villagers with constructing devices and repairing equipment.
After returning to Aumyr with the Chroniclers, Rory and his sister Maylen moved to Atanis where they established FTI. Maylen continues to serve on the board and work as the lead researcher to this day while Rory serves as lead engineer and CEO. Rory is known to have a flair for the dramatic, often revealing their new inventions in incredibly showy public demonstrations.

Rory is a talented engineer with a knack for construction that is only ever overshadowed by his lofty dreams and visions. Rory has been working with his sister Maylen Tsilim for the last 20 years to build an engineering and Essence research firm. Rory thinks of little more than his next endeavor and rarely seems to find himself in a relaxed state. Rory and Maylen Tsilim Tsilim are from a poor family raised by only their Human father, Gregas.

Education

Rory has received no formal education instead choosing to work as an apprentice in multiple smithies and carpenter's shops to pay for Maylen Tsilim's education.

Rory is the owner and CEO of FTI, an independent Essence research and applications firm dedicated to harnessing the power of Essence to construct engineering marvels and push the envelope of technological advances.

Rory has a habit of dreaming too big and overcomplicating projects, he often finds himself jumping into a new project before the last one is completed due to his ever expanding vision.
