Associate Researcher Maylen Tsilim

Maylen Tsilim is the industrious essence researcher and co-founder of Fate Tsiling Industries (FTI), one of the largest private Fate Sealing firms within Aumyr. Maylen was a passenger of the Tourmaline Dream when it sank during the Dawn Islands Reaping. Following the sinking of the Tourmaline Dream, Maylen traveled with the Aumyr Chroniclers studying the local fauna and gaining a deeper understanding of essence farming. Maylen is also attributed with teaching essence farming to River Thereisnone.
While on Islamara, Maylen served as an essence farmer, researcher, and fighter with the Aumyr Chroniclers. Although she chose to remain behind while the Aumyr Chroniclers ventured forth into the fabled Islamara crater, she is credited with providing infusions and enchantments to the Tanaroan villagers, greatly enhancing their quality of life.
After returning to Aumyr with the Chroniclers, Maylen and her brother Rory moved to Atanis where they established FTI. Maylen continues to serve on the board and work as the lead researcher to this day.

Maylen is an extremely intelligent and passionate Essence Researcher that has been working with her brother Rory Tsilim for the last 20 years. Maylen and Rory Tsilim from a poor family raised by only their Human father, Gregas.

Education

Maylen graduated from the Amerius Institute of Magical Studies in Elerin with a focus on Essences when she was 17.

Employment

Since graduating from the Amerius Institute Maylen has worked with her brother, Rory Tsilim, to build FTI. FTI is an independent Essence research and applications firm dedicated to harnessing the power of Essence to advance the lives of everyday people. Maylen strongly believes that Essence shouldn't be utilized for strictly military purposes.

Maylen successfully harnessed the Essence of a displacer beast that lead to breakthrough research in illusionary enchantments.
