Cranberry Haze

Created in the far north, in The Outlands by a traveling half-white dragon in 480, the drink has been a pleasant surprise to most who finds it within taverns. Created from naturally grown cranberries, vodka (usually imported), and a rasberry liqour created in the summertime, The cranberry haze is a perfect example of the harsh winterland environment throughout the culture of The Outlands .

The cranberry symbolizes the harsh climate that cranberrys thrive in, being fairly local to the outlands, it shows the rough, but still possible nature of growing food within the wilds, even if it is only for a short time. The rasberry liqour represents the great desire for sweets, as sweet foods are very rare in the harsh wilderness of the north. And finally, vodka symbolizes the pact between The Outlands and Kingdom of Steisen when they first agreed to peaceful trade relations, and began to trade furs and other accessories.

Most of this history and meaning behind the drink is lost to the average consumer however, which is drank prolifically by women around the northern parts of the world, and a few brave men. Oddly enough, this is also a popular orc drink as well, but only for civilized orcs.

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces ​vodka

1/2 ounce​ black raspberry liqueur

~2​ ounces cranberry juice

Ice or about a handful of snow

Recipe

1. Add vodka and liqueur into a glass, prefferably one easy to shake, with some ice.
2. Shake thoroughly
3. Strain alcohol into serving glass with enough ice or snow to keep chilled.
4. Top with cranberry juice, and serve
