Tempystes

The chaotic weather phenomenon on Erith is one of the major reasons the mortals of Incontinence lock themselves away in safety. These natural disasters are capable of wreaking unimaginable destruction on lives and property and vary from region to region. In modern times, they are a frequent occurrence, with more catastrophic tempystes happening on rarer occasions. These tempystes can range anywhere from a simple combination of earth tremors and rain showers to unexplainable magic warping and overpowering monsters. This range is typically measured by what is called a Disturbance Level by The Pursuit. Most common tempystes have up to three levels, but there are recordings of tempystes that have reached into a sixth level.
