Quaking Thunderstorm

These tempystes are categorized by their fierce winds, boiling rain, and the constant shaking of the earth that accompanies them. There is always a darkness that follows these abominable weather phenomena. They are the most common type of storm throughout the lands, and the one most mortals of Incontinence have learned to build their lives around. All sorts of dangers lurk within: lightning could strike at any moment, the earth might open and swallow you whole, primals and crawlers swarm throughout the darkness, ambushing unsuspecting prey. It is these dangers that encourage mortals to build their homes out of the sturdiest materials and when possible, off the ground. The lightning from these tempystes can be powerful enough to vaporize whole trees, while the resulting thunder sends out a sonic boom unproportionally stronger than the lightning. These sonic waves can cause the earth to shake so violently as to send grounded objects that are not secured properly bouncing into the air.
