Eastern Spices Company
Following the expansion of western settlement in the south-eastern part of Phaldorya, this commercial corporation based in Southaven has obtained an exclusive patent of import for a wide range of spices and agricultural products.
Structure
A consortium of investors, appointed by the senate of the Saythian Republic, to import products from the eastern regions of Phaldorya. The decisional power is divided in ratio of the quotes of investement provided.
Culture
The Eastern Spices Company has been founded to create a commercial network, increase the productivity and introduce successful business format in deprived areas of the Eastern Phaldorya. In pursuit of their goal, the company will not be slowed down by moral or ethical doubts. Moreover, from their point of view, they see themselves as innovators and benefactors.
Public Agenda
The primary goal of the company is the enhancement, security and efficience of the commercial route that allows to import spices from Southaven to Phaldorya.
Assets
The primary assets of the company comprise a vast stretch of lands, often bought at a fraction of their value from poor farmers, a fleet of twelve vessels (six carracks and six caravels, fully manned and equipped with cannons and blades) and a net of offices and warehouses.
History
Founded six years ago after the end of the war against the armies of Toiag Bloodcleaver, the company has gradually expanded its area of influence and, with it, its economic power. Furthermore, in various areas the cooperation with the local authorities has granted them significant power of enforcement, although farmers are starting to show signs of dissatisfaction regarding their life and working condition.
