Among the Kiels and Daoshi, Uan is called Yov (/jɔv/). In Tzai-Léi Uan is the primary deity in albeit with the differing pronunciations of /yɑn/ or /yʷɛn/; there, particularly among the Kwasséi and the Aehi, Yunlai (/jynlɑj/) is a common variant name. Among the northern tribes, Uannite cult is rare, its largest contingent is found in the Hœm city of Bwoh.
Uan is said to have been once mortal born with the name Igyov /igjɔv/ in ages past who ascended to divine perfection before creating his perfect realm where his followers could then themselves ascend.
