Naming Traditions
Family names
Traditionalist Hœmmé tend to have Yssian-sounding names, or animal and plant names in Raachern, ultimately derived from Old Yssian clans.
However, the majority of Hœmmé use toponyms of the Qh'ènnish variety when necessary to distinguish. Otherwise patronyms/matronyms are used, in the Qh'ènnish format: t' of, d'/dā son of, q'/qā daughter of.
