Dakkois: the Ten Goddesses of the Ptarshishin (dækʰois)

Derived from the roots Ptakk (goddess) and ois (ten*), the Dakkois constitutes the primary religious tradition among the Ptarshishin and is the de jure state religion of Ptarshakk. Although the exact composition of the Dakkois is not usually made explicit, or even standardized, it most commonly features the triumvirate of Mwerl-Owis-Bakias and a number of the lunar goddesses (most notably omitting the Silver Moon as she is the patroness of the Qh'énns), plus Schann, Werl, Wann, Annen, or another regionally prominent goddess.   Because of the power of the Ptarshakkian Empire supports the Dakkois, on some level the term broadly includes the entirety of the Anndruk Patheon and can be used interchangeably. As such, in Ptarshakk, the circular stave of the Anndruk Chorus is also the symbol of the Dakkois. For the marginal religious sects and cults, this provides some cover as they can embrace their particular faith bearing the symbol without upsetting the orthodox or the worst elements of the Ptajma.
*Ois is literally ten, but in Ptarshishin languages, it is commonly used for "large group/collection of," thus Dakkois could be taken as a literal collection of ten goddesses, or merely a large group of goddesses (somewhere around ten in number).
