Several years ago, Wilks was just another software engineer working for a corporate company making money that didn't match his skills. He would often finish projects days ahead of schedule, but found it was better to pretend he hadn't lest he get more work. With all his spare time, and utilizing the NAV/COM's resources, he taught himself cyber-security and began testing his skills. Wilks used his new skills to hide himself under the name ███ █████ and trolled on social media and news sites.

As Wilks continued to improve his skills, he would begin to abuse the navigation tracking systems to identify where political figures or otherwise famous people were headed and send them harrassing messages. Eventually boredom struck again and he needed a new rush. Thinking he might do some good, Wilks began anonymosly reporting potential criminal activity based on navigational data. He quit this, however, after ████ was able to find out Wilks identity.

Wilks agreed to help ████ under the terms that Wilks remain anonymous to the rest of the █████████ and that his previous actions taken against them never come to light. He serves as a computer expert and provides intelligence and counter-intelligence, as well as vote on important matters within the organization. With his anonymity, Wilks is the only ████████ not required to sit at the table for meetings, instead communicating through a computer using a voice filter.

Wilks continues to work at NAV/COM, despite his questionable relationships, although it's unclear how much his co-workers or employer really know about him. Utilizing their network and systems, Wilks can get information on almost anything and in many case, prevent others from spreading information. Recent upgrades to Pera's network infrastructure offered the oppurtunity for Wilks and ███ ███████ to pay off the construction crew and give them a direct hook-up to the Perillel Republic Forces network.
