Falias Colonial Army
"The FUC had nominal governments for civilians, but nobody puts much effort in pretending that the military wasn't the one and only power on Falias. All infrastructure and businesses within the moonside colonies that weren't remnants of the old regime were built around the needs of the military first and everything else second, to the point that anti-orbital installations and provisional garrisons are more common sights than hospitals or libraries. Exactly what the FCA were needed for wasn't very apparent until recent times, but most were content to go through the same drills and refurbish decades-old tanks nontheless. Using war-games to demolish derelict buildings is a cute touch, mind you."
"Much as Vaduz would like to pretend otherwise, the FUC are the top-dogs in terms of military power. Sure, they're always gonna be behind the technological edge, but the Colonial Army is just gonna plain outnumber, outmanufacture and outlast everyone else. The VSDC could kill a hundred of them for every casualty they themselves suffer, and it would still be a net-victory for Falias. And with the Corpro-States signing them into trade-deals and supplying them with modern manufacturing-schema? It's no surprise Vaduz are banking on Union's ceasefire, not when the war's about to take a turn in the FUC's favor."
Structure
The FCA follows a mostly conventional military structure, modified across various structures to introduce judicial and governmental systems necesarry for the FUC's stratocratic government.
Culture
Defining the culture of the FCA is difficult due to how intimately it mingles with civil/non-military life and culture within Falias and vice-versa, but one prevailing attitude among all enlisted personel of the FCA is determined acceptance: Every individual sees himself as underequipped, undertrained and (most crucially) underpaid for the tasks and quotas given to them by their superiors who see themselves as just the same, but push on to complete the task with a mixture of improvisational canny and grim determination to do the best they can with what little they have. Nobody outside of the higher brass is excluded from this mindset, resulting in commanding officers rolling up their sleeves and joining 2nd-class engineers in jury-rigging decades-obsolete vehicles back to life to meet the quotas as best as they can.
Assets
With an overwhelming amount of Falian infrastructure dedicated to military procurement, the FCA make up for their lack of naval-power and technological edge by way of sheer quantity and speed of manufacturing and equipping their armed forces: Each colony is its own fortress, bristling with anti-orbital istallations and maintaining a small army of tanks, powersuits and mechs in rows of warehouses, while individual soldiers make up for the unremarkableness of their equipment by simply outlasting hostile forces through numbers and defensive-attrition.
