Forest of Lorai

A huge forest, laying on the western and northern parts of the western continent. Historically the center piece of the Elven Lands, it is now abandoned for the most part. Extending from XXXX in the south to the first peaks of the Northern Crest, it is the single biggest wooden area of the known world.

Ecosystem

The southern areas experience warm temperatures in the summer months and colder temperatures during the winter, but very rarely see snow. Strong seasonal differences can be thus seen, with strong greens in summer and orange tints in autumn, followed by the loss of leaves in most trees. However, in the northern areas of the forest evergreen trees are the vast majority, painting the area in dark green during the whole year.
