Gnomish Floating Isles
A collection of 5 islands that float above the highlands. They periodically drift but for the most part, stay around the same proximity of one another, altitude, and horizontal position in the sky.

No official government, but volunteers take turns making important decisions or votes during times of crisis, or need.

Most people do not take up militaristic practice, but all citizens are either skilled illusionist, tinkerers, or craftsmen that can lend a helping hand if needed.

History
The historical records tells of 6 islands rising out of the ground long ago, to form the Gnomish Isles, though only 5 remain.
Architecture
Most dwellings are burrows into either the dirt, grass, or stone.
Geography
The islands are narrow and jagged as if ripped from the very ground itself.
