Tavern
A reasonably priced tavern with rooms for rent. It is not fancy but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The tavern owners also make good home cooked food and a home made ale.
Ran by Mauve Sunders and her husband Lorkan, the placeholder is known for it's warm, friendly atmosphere and excellent hospitality.
Purpose / Function
It's a tavern in the general shopping district of the commercial quarter, it's clientele consists mostly of small shop owners and workers looking for good food and ale, and travellers looking for somewhere cheap but comfortable to stay.
Alterations
A stable yard has been added to the rear of the tavern in the last 10 years or so and a kitchen extension to the side to allow more room on the tavern floor.
Architecture
A well built, wooden two storey wooden building with a stone foundation and cellar. It has a sharply sloped, shingled roof and wood framed glass windows.
History
The tavern is 50 years old and was built by it's current owners father, Hershin Sunders. It has grown quite popular over the years thanks to it's homely feel and good service.
