Material Characteristics
It looks much like typical forest or rock moss, just has a blue hue to it.
Physical & Chemical Properties
It does burn if dried out, but the natural oil that it grows with takes special processing to remove. To remove it it must be boiled. Timing is difficult because the oil is replaced by water, but very shortly after dissolves. Once dissolved, its medicinal properties are nullified, though it can then be used to dye fabrics or foods.

It is a key ingredient in the Lazuli healing salve.

It is the main export of The Slumbering Isles and second largest source of revenue, after hospitality/tourism.

Trade & Market
Medicinal merchants occasionally have inventory of it across Pallo. It is less and less common the further away from The Slumbering Isles you get. It is cultivated and grown, but since its ideal growing situation requires Megalofidiladi, it is difficult for anyone to grow it outside of The Slumbering Isles.

It is shelf stable for months on its own, and years if applied to a dressing.
