Megalofidiladi

A viscous oil that is used in many different ways. Some examples are cooking, wound treatment, and thickener for liquids or sauces. It has a mild flavor much like olive oil. It's numbing and relaxing qualities make it desired in many places, but it only appears on the Slumbering Isles. To date no one has been able to find a way to produce it elsewhere.

It is a viscous fluid with a light yellow color. It is oily and coats surfaces evenly.

Physical & Chemical Properties

It is rich in several vitamins, a great supplement for any diet, and has many health benefits when ingested or applied topically. When applied topically, it also has a slight numbing effect. When ingested, it tends to induce slight lethargy. When ingested in large quantities, it can cause drowsiness.

History & Usage

Discovery

As the first Imbued came to study the Isles, they discovered that the scales that coat them have many fantastic properties. Beneath those scales they found this oil which had a rather pleasant taste. Over time, it was discovered to be a restorative boon as well.

It can be discarded at will. So long as it has not been made dangerous from its use, it can be discarded into fields to help fertilize plant life.

This substance is native to The Slumbering Isles and is very common there. It is rare to be found in other markets or regions.

Storage

Can be stored in bottles as is or in sealed packages when applied to bandages. It loses efficacy as medicine in temperatures over 50° celsius.
