Personal history
Growing up a Dracolian Opalite during the Scourge of Arkus meant he was always between worlds. Opal was an open and inviting culture, but Dracolians were weary of even them. While there were good trade deals and cooperative agreements between Opal and the Dracolian Tribes there was still the tinge of resentment and caution. Their parents moved to Opal after the War of the Seven Tribes when their tribe was devastated. After their birth, tragedy struck again.
Their education was stunted and they never achieved much in school. Even afterthe Celestial Intervention they struggled to achieve much and coasted along. At the age of 20 they joined the Opal navy to help fight against the continued oppression from Madrane.
The Opalite navy was not very formidable. The ship they served on was sunk during its first combat encounter. Thankfully, the Golden Harpy was nearby and able to rescue sailors who were adrift at sea. Feeling like they had no real place, they asked if they could join the Harpy's crew. Either Baron pitied them, or saw something in them, but he agreed and took them aboard.
