Flense
The wife and mate of Roughpelt, Flense stood out even among the gnolls of the menagerie for her brutal and violent nature. Wearing the bones of her enemies as trophies, and wielding a grotesque jagged club with shards of metal and bone jutting out of it, Flense was a fearsome and cruel commander who used all means at her disposal to maintain a deadly dominance.
Despite her impressive fighting prowess and her loyal pet dire hyenas, Vizier Richard Dargent considered Flense too unpredictable and unstable to be worth trying to control. While he was willing to use her mate, Roughpelt, as a pawn in his machinations, Richard turned to Sky-Eyes rather than Flense after Roughpelt's death. Flense and Sky-Eyes killed each other in a brutal struggle at the menagerie, during the chaos of a cage-fight-gone-wrong that was taking place upstairs.
