The Tabaxi, or Felis'quessir, emerged in the Feywild during a time when the realm's magic sought to create beings that embodied agility, curiosity, and the enigmatic nature of the wild. Their creation is attributed to a powerful fey entity or deity who desired agile and cunning guardians for the Feywild’s dense jungles and hidden realms.
The first Tabaxi appeared in the lush, verdant jungles and shadowy forests of the Feywild, where magical energies imbued the essence of great cats with sentience and humanoid form. These early Tabaxi inherited the agility, curiosity, and social structure of wildcats, combined with the intelligence and adaptability needed to thrive in the ever-changing Feywild.
Early Tabaxi society was organized into clans, each led by the most experienced and clever members. These clans roamed the jungles and forests, acting as scouts, protectors, and explorers of their territories. Their presence helped maintain a balance in these regions, ensuring that other fey beings and creatures could coexist harmoniously.
