Culture and cultural heritage
While the Dwarven Pricipalities largely gone now, some remnants of that time remain, the most significant one being the dwarven caste system. When a dwarf comes of age, they apply to one of six castes, and must pass a test put forward by a local caste leader. They then complete their castemark and become proper members of their chosen caste.

Shared customary codes and values
Universally valued in dwarven communities is dedication, tradition, and appreciation for a job well done.
Art & Architecture
Second only to the creations of stone giants, Dwarven crafts and construction are renowned for their ability to stand the test of time. Most dwarves agree in the philosophy of function before form, that before something can be beautiful it must be functional.
Architecture
Dwarven buildings are easily recognized by their linear design and incorporation of natural minerals. Marble and granite are the preferred construction material, but architects often incorporate local stone as well, giving dwarven settlements a unique personality depending on what stone is available nearby. While they're not above it, most dwarves prefer to avoid making structures of wood.
