The era of giantkind ended a millennia ago, their empire suffering a cataclysm which covered the land is dust and echoes. Now, two young nations race to claim the wide expanses of unsettled territory reclaimed by the wilds.
To the east is Ancellon, an ambitious country where technological innovations have made life easy for its inhabitants, so long as they follow the laws of the Fivefold Council.
To the south is the Ouroborian Empire, where peoples of all shapes and sizes have united in worship of the World Serpent.
Now exiles, missionaries, pioneers and treasure hunters shoulder the name 'adventurer', risking everything to find a new way of life in the wilds of Ovatria.
