Cavern of the Lost
The Cavern of the Lost is a mysterious and dangerous place, located on the northern coast of Leryia. Its entrance, marked by two tall pillars holding rusted braziers, is hidden within a rocky cliff face near the Black Bay. The entrance itself is a gaping maw, once guarded by a massive door, now long gone.
The interior of the cavern is a labyrinth of twisting tunnels and spacious chambers. The walls are smooth and carved with intricate depictions of dragons in flight, hinting at the ancient civilization that once inhabited this place. Remnants of ancient architecture can still be seen, but the purpose of these structures is lost to time. Deep within the caverns, there are chambers carved into the living rock, and the floor is littered with the skeletal remains of dragons and humans. How these creatures met their end remains a mystery.
The climate within the cavern is cool and damp, with a constant draft of air. The walls are covered in strange fungi and other bioluminescent growths, casting an eerie glow on the surrounding darkness. The cavern is home to a variety of dangerous creatures, including giant spiders, undead creatures, and ghostly apparitions. The tunnels are often unstable, and cave-ins are a constant threat.
The Cavern of the Lost is shrouded in legend and mystery. Some say that the cavern is connected to the Greenby Cavern, but this has never been proven. Others believe that the cavern is haunted by the spirits of those who perished within its depths. There are also rumors of hidden treasure, but no one has ever been able to find it. Despite the dangers, the Cavern of the Lost continues to attract adventurers and treasure seekers, drawn by the promise of wealth and glory.
