The Greater Forge

The Greater Forge is an extensive city that takes up an entire mountain, with the entire inside carved out. There are a lot of wooden and stone support systems that make the space possible. It holds the only breach into the Wasteland, which the townsfolk mainly uses as a forge for weapons and smithing. It's mainly a dwarvish society, but with the introduction of the Laundrian road, many other cultures of people have taken an interest in smithing. Additionally, the dwarves have found simpler means to produce these materials and goods by learning magic and more information about the Wasteland.
Their government is ruled by group of aristocratic rulers that live in a fort that sit directly beneath the peak of the mountain. There represenitive on the Court of Countillan has recently mysteriously drowned in his own golden bathtub. Now his son, Bauc Greygut has temporary opted to hold his position while the aristocrats decide on the next representivie.
The city is divided into 5 districts (the following listed in descending order, both physically and numerically):
The 1st District: The Elite District
The 1st district is the district of the government and the important business owners that run the government. This place has the smallest population, with only the government leaders having housing up here. The meeting place made for the Court of Countilin, the City Hall, and the main legislation branches are all up here. The area itself is very small, about the size of a town square. It is not overseen by anyone, since the death of the Baron who would oversee it has been covered up by some of the other nobles.
The 2nd District: The Luxury District
The 2nd district is for the most powerful business owners in the city state. It has a considerably smaller population size than the rest of the districts. While the majority of the districts have a purpose, this district is there just to house those important business owners and give them a life of luxury outside of work. Few people truly spend their time up here. This district is a communication hub as well, which was its original purpose. It also houses many of the law enforcement systems at the top, even if that is where the law enforcers are the least. The 2nd district is overseen by Baron Samuel Vishard, the owner of the mail and communication systems in the Greater Forge.
The 3rd District: The Business District
The 3rd district is the district where opportunity runs wild. Anyone who makes it financially past the 4th district can make it here, with any company they come up with. Many of the most successful businesses that run in the 5th and 4th districts have offices in the 3rd district. It is also the hub for the current transportation system in the Greater Forge, with many lower class civilians getting the chance to live on this district for their knowledge of the lifts and how to run maintenance on them. The 3rd district is overseen by Baroness Clove Weathers, the former owner of the lift system and the new owner of soon to be alternate transportation methods.
The 4th District: The Smithing District
The 4th district is a district of soot and ash, with lower class citizens using what everyone who lives in the forge knows how to do, smithing, to get by in the economy. The housing is compact, and the forge is large with many different people with different roles in the operation. This district has the largest amount of law enforcement in the region, and the most crime. This district is home to the Greater Forge's lifeblood, the Wellspring, a portal to the Wastelands that is used to magically imbue artifacts with hellish properties. The district is overseen by Baroness Talia Spoosebill, the owner of the Forge itself.
The 5th District: The Tourism District
The 5th district is a district of celebration and markets, with many economic opportunities in the area. With a direct connection to the Laundrian Road, the Greater Forge's 5th district is a place where any person can come to party, gamble, buy, sell, or find work in the great city. This district is the face of the Greater Forge to the other city states. It is directly governed by Baron Thaddeus Covney, the proud owner and main sponsor of the Carnival of Fire.
As of 04/24/24, The Greater Forge is now under the control of the Glory circle of Hell, the first circle to ever fully enter into this plane of existence.
