The Wasteland

The Wastelands (also known as the Hells and the elemental plane of fire) is a fiendish battlefront where the eight ruling sins fight for control of the plane.
The Wastelands is divided into eight different layers, reflecting each of the ruling sins. Each layer was invented by the Eighteen, lead by the Vile Majesty, as a means to hinder the effects of the ideologies highlighted in the eight ruling sins on Othealia and other planes for that matter. The eight sins are what fuel the Wastelands and allow it to continue to have the fiery power it posseses. When a creature exhibits the values of one of the sins, a creature is created in the respective layer that reflects the intensity of the sin as well as the impact and influence that particular sin had on the rest of the world. Sometimes humanoids or souls, as punishments from the gods, are sent to the Wastelands to serve one of the lords of the layers. 
The following sins and descriptions of the layers are listed in descending order.

Greed

The layer of Greed is ruled by the Man of Many Hands. This creature has run rampant both in the Wastelands and on Othealia ever since the death of the Gilded Baron. With little to keep the Man of Many Hands in check, he has become a divine source of wealth, while also being devilish in nature. This creature once inhabited the body of Lawrence Frundy, the main antagonist of the SoT campaign. This layer, due to the death of the Gilded Baron, has reigned supreme over the other lyers of the Wastelands for a very long time.

Pride

Before the death of the Gilded Baron, Pride used to reign over the hells. Additionally, until about 200 or so years ago, Pride included the Glory layer of the Wastelands as an internal district, until Glory revolted against the rulers of Pride and created a new layer of the Wastelands. This caused Pride to lose a lot of its power and influence over the Wastelands, immediately being surpassed by many of the layers. Since then, they have climbed back into the second place spot, with nothing but victory on their mind. They are determined to rally armies to battle and tear the Wastlelands asunder in the efforts to fight Greed.

From here onward, the rankings are rather interchangeable, other than Glory's spot which has been concrete over the past 100 years.

This layer of the Wastelands broke free from the tyrannical rulings of Pride and created its own layer, due to the intense amount of glorified warriors in Othealia. Recently, they have purposely stopped their pursuit of the top circle of hell in hopes of taking root in Othealia itself through the molten wellspring located in the Greater Forge, marking them as the first circle to begin a takeover of Othealia. In this attempt, they have effectively destroyed the Greater Forge and have begun to crusade along the eastern coast of Countillan.
