The Arvenson family is an organization of corrupt politicians and white-collar crime centralized in Countillan. It is currently led by the leader of Gurrel, Fredrick Arvenson. The family's wealth and control have connections in the Court of Countillan, as Damian Arvension has the representative seat for all of Brusel.
They mostly deal in the production and trade of arcane devices and developments. This is especially useful as the head mage and dean of the Threads of Amber, Melexis Arvension, is Fredrick's daughter.
