The Porcelain Ravens
Stationed in The Kingdom of Mourningfell the elite women of the group work in the shadows to further the power of The Protector of Souls, fight against the Undying Lich, and covert operations for the royal family.
Structure
The organization is made up of only women and is split into three sections; the Egcuvi, the Synter, and the Envenoar. Within all sides, all members while working must wear porcelain white mask that covers their entire faces and black and dark red clothing. Those who work within the Egcuvi make up the leaders for the organization; sending the Envenoar out on missions that the church or crown has commissioned, they speak with the Raven Queen directly, and gain knowledge about the past, present, and future or so it is said. The Envenoar enacts all missions sent to them from the Eqcuvi and sometimes the crown directly. They are the assassins and spies of Mourningfell. The Synter are the guards for the organization, watching over the prisoners held within the mountain temple.
Public Agenda
Most have been told very little about the group, with the identities of the members kept secret. The few who know of their existence know their beliefs to be that in the time you've been granted you must use it to help the Raven Queen, death should never be questioned and should always be permanent, and Vecna the Undying Lich is the true enemy of The Raven Queen.
Assets
Given their overall secrecy most have had difficulty in pinning down solid information about the group. The Division seems to have the most information on the group, estimating that they have around two hundred to three hundred members with a temple to The Raven Queen not far from the capitol The Warden City of Alalis. They make money off of the tithing from religious ceremonies and what the crown pays them. Outside of that those that work for the organization tend to have some form of a cover job that pays them.
History
Founded by Princess Adelaide of House Mourningfell wife of King Oreb of House Mourningfell Fourth of His Name and the head of Church of The Raven Queen Sybbyl McKinnon after spies found out about The Division; thirty years after it was formed. The queen wanted to form a group that could collect and disseminate information, and eventually take out any enemies of the church and the crown. The organization set it's headquarters a few miles away from Alyiss amongst the highest peaks of the Raven Mountains; forming a small city within the mountains itself.
Mythology & Lore
Created as a subset of the Church of The Raven Queen by the church and the crown together when they found out about The Division wanting to ensure their allies would never double cross them.
The only truth in this world is that Death comes for us all.
